Always check the RJ14, they often break the solder away from the jack, causing problems. There is a voltage regulator near the RJ14 that has similar problems occasionally, especially on the 7030. If you are as old as I am, you will need a magnifying glass to see the cold solder joints clearly. Other than that, the 70XX series phones are good.
