I have a residential customer with a TD308 and a TVS50. The voicemail
has never been set up. What she wants is a single mailbox, that answers
any of the 3 CO lines after 4 or so rings, plays a standard answering-
machine-type greeting, and takes a message. After the message has been
left, a message waiting lamp should light on all stations, and pushing
it should take her immediately to the voicemail "Please enter your pass-
word" prompt to retrieve her mail. Bonus points for being able to retrieve
messages remotely by dialing any of the numbers. All of the phones are
top-of-the-line 7456's.

As she points out, this is something (aside from the message waiting
lamp) that an answering machine can do.

I took an initial stab at this, based on my TD1232 experience. I used
Programator to define a flexible key as "Message Waiting mailbox 101",
but that seems to be one of the things the 308 doesn't implement.

If I had to, I could get her to accept only having the MW lamp on one
extension.

Anyway, after I tried defining the flex key and failed, I figured I'd
ask this group, as I'm sure somebody must have done this already...

        Thanks,
