it's job :-)

Stripping MIME messages from the newsgroup.  If you send plain text,
nothing happens.  If you send HTML crap, it gets stripped from the message.
 In a lot of cases, if that's all the sender sent, there's no message and
it sends a warning that the message was stripped.

Since some of us use Eudora, a text based mailer, and some may still use a
-UX based operating system, we don't have to wade through the crap.
