How annoying!  Trot yourself down to the local Orange Box and pick up
things like your Progressive tone and probe and Greenlee bits.  They're not
too bad for pricing.  Check out their tool shed for drills. although I
usually just grab mine at the wholesale tool place, a Ryobi 18v cordless
set is $199 for an underpowered Sawzall, 4 or 5 inch saw, and a drill.
Then beat on your distributor for the "tools of the trade".

See, you could have put the rest of your day off to good use :-)

Oh, and when you get your new tools, be sure to post your address.  I never
know when I might need some new tools.

P.S.  I'm sure the insurance is nice, but it makes you mad that someone is
wandering around with your tools that sold for pennies on the dollar.
Probably bought some great drugs.
