I have been given one of these fax machines but it will not answer to a different ring pattern, the telco here in New Zealand has a service called faxibility which rings the phone to a different pattern on the same pstn line, I have purchased a decoder but the fax will not answer to the ring cadence offered, it will only answer to the normel ring pattern.
