Second problem first, Set Intercept Routing for the trunk group to 165, then set the IRNA timer setting to 3 rings. Then you can set the DIL1:N for whatever extensions you wish to ring.
First problem, a previous installer may have set the communications to 19.2 kbd instead of the default 9600 baud. That is done in the hardware settings. You can reset the com port to 9600 by setting the rotary switch to 1 and restart the system. Put it back to 0 afterwards. That does not re-initialize. Or you could try accessing it at 19200 baud.
