From Matrix: I took a look at ubuntu-release-upgrader. Just Oracular in detail so far, but keeping the plan for Noble in mind. Mostly it looks fine, but I'm a little puzzled by the Qt6 fix. Bug 2095535 has a Noble task, but isn't being fixed by the upload. What's the plan there, wrt. to the urgency for upgrades in time for Plucky's release? Is it that Noble->Plucky won't be expected to work until later, eg. Oracular's EOL? I'm unfamiliar about how ubuntu-release-upgrader is supposed to work when LTS+1 EOLs, to be clear.
So do we need a re-upload for Noble then, or am I missing something? I don't mind accepting Oracular now if everyone's happy with that and you're in a hurry; the risk just being that preparing the Noble fix reveals something that would require a further update to the Oracular fix. But in that case, will accepting the current upload for Noble slow things down, since it'll then block a further SRU for Noble? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2095535 Title: [SRU/RC] ubuntu-release-upgrader Qt interface Qt6 incompatibility To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2095535/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
