First of all, thank you very much for looking into this, and putting effort into a fix.
I do have some questions about the test plan. Why are you downloading a separate piece of source code to run the test? Why does the upgrade need to be interrupted and restarted manually? I understand that from time to time (and testing during development) it's necessary to unpack the tarball directly and short-circuit the usual fetch-and-execute logic. But in this case, what I expect to work (and hence what I would like the test case to reflect) is that upgrading from plucky to oracular using the Qt6 backend "just works". -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2095535 Title: [SRU/RC] ubuntu-release-upgrader Qt interface Qt6 incompatibility To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/2095535/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
