Public bug reported: If you shade a window then the window borders can be left displayed.
If you have Plastik Window Decorations they will always be left behind. If you are using Breeze of Oxygen then they will be left behind if the window is maximized vertically. This is new in 24.10 (Oracular). 24.04 was fine. NOTE that this is for an X11 desktop session. Wayland is unusable as shading there is *totally* broken (see bug 2105592) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 24.10 Package: plasma-desktop 4:6.1.5-0ubuntu1 Uname: Linux 6.13.2-061302-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.30.0-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: unknown CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Fri Feb 28 13:17:26 2025 InstallationDate: Installed on 2024-10-12 (139 days ago) InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 24.10 "Oracular Oriole" - Release amd64 (20241007.6) SourcePackage: plasma-desktop UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: plasma-desktop (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug oracular third-party-packages -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to plasma-desktop in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100596 Title: Shading can leave window borders behind To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-desktop/+bug/2100596/+subscriptions -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
