My intent with that post was not to degrade pilots that *prefer* flying tri- gear.  Tri-gear are physical easier to fly (only on T.O. & landing).   My point is that a well setup tail wheel airplane can be safely flown by any "competent" pilot.  Have you ever heard that a DC3, after 80 years in service, is a nasty airplane to fly?
