I've learned over the years that "flyability" should out weight aesthetics almost every time.

I would even drop the word "almost".

Canopy material is quite flexible as Mark indicated so anything "close" can probably be made to work.  I used the forward portion of a broken Pulsar canopy for the windshield and portions of a standard half bubble canopy for the side windows.

Before you call  any canopy makers or other suppliers, put on paper all the dimensions you are looking for. Distance between the top longerons, vertical height where your head is located, distance vertical from the longeron to where you want the "curve over" to start.  I wanted approx 8" vertical rise above the longeron before the "curve over" started and I knew the total height I wanted so I connected these to spots with the radius of a 32 gallon trash can lid.  I formed a windshield and turtle deck bow and built to those.  I raised the height of the canopy by adding foam and glass to the top longeron.  Turned out great.
