That looks like what I used also using the same process and it worked
just fine. The problem I posted earlier was with the 1/8" thick
aluminum plates that came with the capacitive fuel senders to mount them
to the tank and the threads failing.

To my knowledge 100LL has never been sold at a "gas station", only at
airports and has never contained alcohol. If you're talking "premium
fuel" at a gas station, that's not 100LL. Please clarify..........
