You can always Google FAA Weight and Balance.... 8083-1 is findable and free. Having said that, anyone who uses Foreflight, FLY-Q, or any of the other Electronic Flight Bags has no excuse for not doing a W&B before every flight. Even Sporty's E6B will to it.

I've spent over 40 years in engineering using processes and methods that can kill people or at minimum hurt them severely with no going back.

I am still building and working on the PPL, but risk is risk... you can study it in University, or you can fail in the school of reality... try not to do the latter.

It takes ten minutes to allow you to live for another bunch of years with your significant other, kids, or grand kids. Take the 10 minutes.

OK, I've heard two or three folks now say that a KR2 can be flown with an aft CG, it's just a little difficult to handle.    Maybe folks don't realize that what matters is HOW FAR AFT the CG is.  I little bit is inconvenient, a bother, and requires lots of attention to fly.  Add another 2 or 3 inches to that, and you may very well not survive the flight.  Please don't try to prove me wrong.  Several folks have died in KRs due to an aft CG.  We don't need that list any longer than it already is.  It's not unique to KRs....but it does happen to KRs, period.  Take or leave it....
