Something I left out of my rant the other day is about Foreflight. I have Foreflight also, which I keep on the phone because it has pretty good NEXRAD weather depiction, although now iFly is almost as good. Foreflight probably does everything you could imagine, but you need a pretty big brain in your head to keep it all straight....at least I do! iFly is very intuitive, and very easy to use. I once tried to enter the GPS coordinates for a waypoint on the way to OSH using my MGL EIFIS, and after twenty minutes I gave up. I went to the iFly and had it done in under a minute! The waypoint was already there on the map, I just needed to drag the route over there and it was added! Lots of people swear by ForeFlight, but be prepared for a learning curve, one that I couldn't handle.....
