Ditto on what Mark posted. I use an Android of some type, 10 inch
tablet, cost $80, and run IFLY software for $99 a year for 4 platforms.
I use my phone for backup. I've never flown Foreflight but it only runs
on a tablet and I see little if any difference for my type of flying. I
can't think of anything IFLY could do to improve their produce. The
price difference between an IPAD and a tablet will probably pay for
several years of IFLY. I started with an IFLY 700, upgraded to the 720
then (upgraded) to the tablet. I fly 99 percent of the time solo so the
10" tablet is not too intrusive. Have a flying buddy? With a bit of
creative thinking you can cut you subscription price in half. You
really don't need all four platforms all by yourself do you?
As always, YRMV..............
