I'm writing this so others won't make the same mistakes I made today.
We had a rare East breeze today, I wanted to see if I could lift the nose,
Well, I did - it took off and I was surprised, I tried to get it back down, but PIOs and I hit hard and bounced - 3 times, the last time was hard, and it was too much for
the nose strut (then the propeller)
Mistake one:  not having a plan on what to do if it took to the air
Mistake two:  lack of recent flying time dual and solo
Mistake three:  posts on KRNet about just this sort of thing happening on high speed tests
which I read and didn't take as seriously as I should have.

but hey, it actually flew.
