Hey Shaffer, I just read your post about your experience on the KR2 cable break. I was actually thinking about converting my toe (cable) break into a stick handle like yours... It sounds like your break (after converted into disk break) now is good enough to lock up both side of your wheels when doing engine runups, correct? Well, if that is the case, then converting the cable drums break into disk break (still cable?) should be a much easier solution to resolve the problem, right?
I will appreciate if you could share some of your ideas and pictures on how to modify your breaks, such as replacing original mechanism with disks and a 15 inch long break handle on the left side of your cockpit? Thanks in advance! Dr. Hsu On Mon, Feb 1, 2021, 9:44 PM shafferj455js--- via KRnet < krnet@list.krnet.org> wrote: > > > -I flew my first 70 hours with the Azusa drum brakes.
