I have many friends at our airport who are RV builders and many are flying. For me, from what I have heard and seen, I would go with Garmin or Dynon all the way. You won't regret it, either way. The price is about the same, but even though, I am Dynon all the way, I believe your resale value will be higher with Garmin.
This is not to denigrate the round panels, they are in some ways more simple and if one instrument goes out, you don't have to replace the whole thing. I emailed their support and didnt get much help. It was removed before I ever flew with it.. From my experience, I would not recommend it. Still have it on the shelf if you want to give it a try. _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at https://www.mail-archive.com/krnet@list.krnet.org/.
