Welcome to the group Ron. I too am a recently new builder myself and I can
attest to the awesomeness of this group. I have never been left hanging with my
questions and concerns. I feel that the support system from these previous
builders and pilots is the reason why so many of us take on these challenges
and are motivated to continue. I know you will feel the love of support that
these great guys offer and hope to meet you at one of our gatherings.
Best regards

Hello All,
My name is Ron Brown and am building a KR2. I live in Michigan in the Flint
area. I ordered my plans in 1986, and have been whittling away when time
and money permitted.
With retirement and the Corona virus quarantine, I have been able to make
considerable progress.
I just finished the redesign and installation of the flap system. I've
turned her upside down and am going to be finishing the wing bottoms.
I have a Revmaster 2180 engine that I will be trying to get working.
This project has certainly been a challenge so far. So much is left to work
out on your own. I have and continue to pore over the old emails and
newsletters seeking help and direction. I'd like to thank all those out
there that have taken the time to submit their solutions to issues they
have encountered.
I hope to be able to make it to a gathering in the near future...
