Hi Jeff,

The ceramic coating would benefit the exhaust as it protects from corrosion 
however, it also acts as an insulating cover to not only prevent heat escaping 
into the cowling area but also keeps the exhaust gasses hotter and thus less 
dense which aids exhaust flow. Better exhaust flow = better engine breathing = 
more RPM & HP.

Larry,

My exhaust was standard mild steal from Great Plaines.  So the extra 200
rpm gain I got after having Jet Hot ceramic coat the exhaust and gain in
rpm was exact same set up. Same carb, same prop, same plugs. I cant really
explain how just cerami coating the exhaust gained 200 rpm. Unless possibly
I was not getting a true full throttle prior.
