I looking forward to meeting everyone putting a face to a name i just picked up
a KR2S project and I'm also looking forward to the knowledge everyone has to
offer.  I've never flown in a KR so I need to  hear about flight
characteristics. The KRnet group has been a great help already . Thanks guys
looking forward to meeting you.

The Gathering is only four weeks away, so it's way past time to get
serious about forums.  By some tragic mistake, I apparently volunteered
to organize the forums this year, and have failed miserably so far.  At
this point I plan to spruce up my "What to do when the pilot's cooling
fan quits" presentation to concentrate a bit more on first flights, and
call it a "First Flight" forum.  Larry Flesner will give a Weight and
Balance Forum, and Paul Visk has arranged for Steve Goetz to do a "wings
credit qualifiying" talk on winter flying preparedness.  [For those who
don't know about the Wings program, it'll get you a 10% discount on your
aircraft insurance if you've been to two classes, among other benefits.]

We will also do the thing out in the hangar where each pilot/owner will
talk about their plane and field questions from the crowd.  If there are
other topics that folks are interested in, we can arrange to discuss
this or these topics during some separate mini-forums.  Just let me know
and we'll make it happen.  Reply on KRnet or directly to me, but on
KRnet may get others thinking and come up with a few more topics.  We
have these things to educate KR builders and pilots, so bring it on and
we'll talk about it!

Thanks,
