Yes, I made it back at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon...although not quite back
to my airport. The wind was something like 12k gusting to 20k (90
degree crosswind) at my home airport, so I opted to land at nearby
Meridianville instead, which was aligned with the wind. Even at sunset
it was a steady 20 mph crosswind, and that stuff just doesn't work for
me on our 40' wide runway. The wonder-wife dropped me off at 5:15 this
morning at Meridianville, and after wiping the dew off, I flew it back
to my home airport for a nice calm-wind landing.

Glad you guys made the trip home safely. You mentioned "wonder wife"
again but I've never met her. I'm beginning to think you've just hired
a number of domestic staff and are passing them off as "wonder wife".
But hey, it's your story.............
