Dave,

I see no reason not to take a closer look at a 1980 KR. Revmaster's are
certainly good engines for this aircraft. I have an annual inspection
checklist I will send you separately.

I would not add the flaps unless you are dealing with a short runway length
at your home airport. I have been flying mine without flaps for over 800
hours.

Thanks,

Subject: KR> KR2 pre buy questions

Hi. I'm looking to purchase 1980 KR2 with a revmaster 2100, and I'm looking
for information about doing a pre buy inspection. How would you inspection
the wing spars? What are other areas to inspect other than general visual
inspections?

Should I look for a newer KR?

This airplane doesn't have flap and I would like to add them.... How
difficult would this be at this point?

Thank you for your input!

Dave
