The Halo headsets are hard to get. You can usually catch the guy at Oshkosh to buy them. Otherwise, he turns on his web site for an hour or two every couple of weeks and sells out his inventory, then turns off the purchasing from his web site again until he has more inventory to sell.
I learned this when I called to ask about the web site. I asked if he would take a waiting list. "No." I asked why he didn't staff up if they were selling so well. He said he couldn't find reliable employees, so he makes them all himself. After I had both emailed and called, I gave up and bought a Clarity Aloft unit. The day the Clarity Aloft headset arrived, I got an email from the guy that runs Halo saying "I am about to turn my web site on. Good luck!" I went onto his web site and bought the Halo unit then. I didn't mind owning two units since I wanted one in each plane, so that worked out OK for me. If you really want a Halo headset, I would recommend dropping the guy an email requesting to be notified when he will have headsets to sell. In all likelihood, he will send you an email when he turns his site on to sell some headsets. Or, call and ask if he will be at Sun 'n Fun or Oshkosh and have someone buy a headset for you at the show.
