My first set came from a donor KR2 I purchased in Mississippi. It was a tri gear and I was planning on using the gear legs for my conventional setup. After I purchased it, I found out that the legs were cut with angles on both sides. I was expecting them to have a straight edge on one side. I called Steve Glover and he told me that there is a difference between the two (when that happened, I don't know). I then purchased a brand new set through Steve, in 2014 I believe, for conventional gear and they are cut like the picture you provided.
