Those that are flying the Revmaster engine in the KR... what vacuum source are you using? In the absence of a doable solution I am thinking of a low cost EFIS like the Dynon or something similar. Decision time on instrumentation... Thanks Luis R Claudio, KR2S Dallas, Texas _______________________________________________
Regardless of engine, not many homebuilders add the weight and complexity of vacuum systems anymore. Personally, since I have all steam gauges, I added a Dynon D1 for emergency situation roll/pitch/yaw flight information several years after my plane was flying. But most folks either go with an EFIS now days as it's simpler, lighter, and costs less than buying all new instruments, or forgo anything beyond the basic required instrumentation as it is not necessary for VFR flight. -Jeff Scott Los Alamos, NM _______________________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at https://www.mail-archive.com/krnet@list.krnet.org/.
