I have had several requests for pictures of the details for the elevator control modifications regarding the Single Seat Conversion on my otherwise stock KR-2. This is the 7th and (hopefully) last version of the elevator pushrod mod. Yes, I did consider using aircraft throttle and boat steering Bowden cables, but could not find any suitable. Except for the rudder cables, all of the elevator and aileron controls are push-rods. The elevator trim tab is all Bowden cable operated. Used white Lithium grease to lube the slider bars. This is a long list: be careful what you wish for. All the jpg pixel stuff is on my website.

Sid is there anyway you could post s photo of your slider for the elevator

After months of trials and try again, finally got the seat and elevator
control linkage to agree. I made a slider to go under the seat and all
moving parts are smooth operation without any interference. The fit check
with seat belts fastened, cushions in place, headset on, and canopy locked,
has 2.5 inches headroom to the Plexiglas. Sight picture over the cowl
remains the same as with the two-seat configuration.
Selfie fit check. Note the left elbow room.

Sure want to see MVN in that sight picture instead of a hangar door.
