Larry,

I am asking this question out of ignorance. I there an aluminum or composite
prop that could be used in place of a wood prop? I am just now gearing up to
build a KR2S and follow these threads with great interest. I have a Corvair
engine that I plan to use in this project.

If you will be running a wood prop you IFR will be limited to popping
through a cloud bank or two. Rain could destroy the prop in a matter of
minutes.
