There's been such talk about trim tabs the last month I got curious and
asked Ken what he used when he built my plane. I asked if he used a Ray
Allen and he said no, he didn't use a model aircraft servo but did use
one designed for experimental aircraft.

It's just a small rocker switch on the panel, in front of me. Up is down
and down is up . . . I think. Even after eleven years I still get
confused and get it right only half the time. It just requires the
slightest touch, like everything else with a KR. I think a Bowden cable
is better used for a cowl flap or heater butterfly flap that lets cabin
heat in or keeps it out.

But what do I know.

I know this electric trim has worked flawlessly for eleven years and
looks and acts like new. A really quick electric trim is really nice.
