So, you should not consider the KR as safe and plan accordingly. I haven’t run the numbers for KR’s vs other experimental aircraft types, but I’m guessing the reliance on VW’s, and plans built vs kit, cost averse owners, and relatively high stall speed would weigh against its safety relative to averages.
