Off point but, toe in / toe out is for "steerable" wheels... i.e., when you
take your high performance car into a hard corner, the toe as well as the
camber sets the stance of the car through the corner. When exiting, the toe
helps bring the wheels back to center along with the camber. Main wheels on
an aircraft are stationary relative to the suspension, so I would think that
camber might be more significant than toe. Again, JMHO.

I've never really bought the theory for toe-in or toe-out and went with as
zero-zero as I could get and zero camber when loaded. Glad I did. 650
hours and my KR handles great on the ground. Tire wear is non existent. I
can't imagine that any aircraft using toe-in or toe-out could handle any
better than my KR.

Just wondering, do aircraft like Mustangs, Corsairs, DC3, B17, use toe-in,
toe-out, or neutral?
