Subject: KR> Cabin Ventilation

My KR has two NACA vents on either side of the Plane that are too far back and they actually pull air out of the plane in flight. I built a fiber glass scoop to cover the left side vent. Now I have a good cross flow and is much more bearable. The air flows in the left and out the right. I even have a good breeze during taxi with the canopy closed from prop wash. The scoop might cause a little drag, but is well worth it. In the winter I stuff a piece of foam in the scoop to slow down the amount of air coming in when I have the vent part open.
