Mike and Ed..... Your experiences with Jet Hot was completely different than mine. I wonder why ? Was it because Steve was the actual name associated with your pipes and the warranty was not transferable or they simply could not find your account for warranty ?
I had my exhaust done by Jet Hot and my exhaust was already several years old and heat cycled. So it had rust before I had them done. After a few years of being coated by Jet Hot, I noticed some very slight discoloration. I called Jet Hot and with the best attitude they told me, send them back and we will redo them. No questions asked. In fact, they even paid the shipping both ways. It was the most trouble free warranty service I have ever experienced. I received them back quickly. Now there are near by ceramic coasters in Louisville KY but they informed me they only coat the exterior of the pipes and would not warranty a used exhaust. I checked several places, same answer. It was my understanding at that time that Jet Hot coated my pipes inside and out. I can't confirm that without running up to the hanger and looking at them. I can not say enough great things about Jet Hot. Great work, no guesting asked service and it lowered temps under the cowling and oddly enough I gained 200 rpm.
