Steve Bennett had the exhaust coated with Jet Hot when he put the engine in my
plane and it's held up everywhere except where the crossover pipes come
together. I keep a coat of hi-temp paint on the small area that's affected.
The "Lifetime Guarantee" the Jet Hot advertises is full of exclusions so if you
get your pipes done by them I wouldn't expect anything in the way of customer
service once the pipes are out of their doors. I I would do some shopping
before deciding on Jet Hot. Unless they have a patent on their process there
must be other places where it can be done less expensively. Jet Hot seems
overpriced, especially in light of their "you bought it now go away" customer
service. Mike StirewaltKSEE
