Hi Dean, I'll add that the quantity of hinges as designed are fine, However I am using Bronze bushings in the aluminum hinges to prevent wear. I have heard stories of sloppy controls due to the bolt hinge holes being worn and elongated. I used bronze bushings from the hardware store, some are staright( the inner hinge member), and I used some flanged(outer -overlapped-hinge member . The bolts keep the bushings captive.
