Actually, if you equip for ADS-B out now, you will get all the traffic,
including other aircraft that have ADS-B out AND traffic relayed via
TIS-B that is picked up by traditional radar services.
You will not get traffic that is not within radar services, though.
Note that with the Dynon ADS-B receiver specifically, they have a note
that they will not display traffic unless you also have the Dynon
integrated transponder (that has integral ADS-B Out). My understanding
is that basically means that if you have another ADS-B out solution
already installed, the Dynon Skyview will not display the traffic.
Others have installed something like the Trig TT31 transponder (which
support ADS-B out), and a SkyRadar ADS-B receiver displayed on the WingX
app on an iPad, and it works quite well to show all of the traffic.
