The traffic on it is pretty much a non-starter until a whole lot more people get ADS-B Out. That's likely to happen sometime around 2020+. You can do the same thing with the iFly720 for a whole lot less $$. I've been flying with the ADS-B weather and TFRs (that's part of the ADS-B weather) since May.
One of the guys that's been flying the Hudson Corridor with ADS-B traffic as well as a Zaon PCAS says the PCAS calls out about 50 aircraft for every 1 that shows up on ADS-B traffic. Of course if you're mixing it up with the big boys up an the 18,000' and above flight levels, then the ADS-B traffic is probably the thing for you today. If you really want traffic now, a PCAS is the way to go today. ADS-B traffic won't have much functionality for several years yet. By then the ADS-B traffic receiever and the latest Garmen whiz bang GPS will all be either obsolete or about 1/3 of the price you'll pay today. -Jeff Scott > > -----Original Message----- > > "Ok, now I want one.
