I used McMaster p/n 5046K13. I got the part number from people "in our industry" that have used it for years. I only have a year on mine so far (in another airplane other than a KR) but I know of other aircraft that have used it for many a year with no problems (110LL - I can't speak for mogas).
It is clear. I would recommend putting a white decal behind it and it becomes very easy to see.
