Given the recent post on flight simulators, I feel I must caution
future KR pilots that you won't learn to fly a KR by using a flight
simulator. They may be fun and entertaining but they are no
substitute for "real" stick time in a KR or similar type
aircraft. KRs, when balanced in the right CG envelope, are not
difficult to fly, even by low time pilots. However, I would
recommend that before you make your first flight in a KR as PIC, you
have at least 50 hours of recent flight time ( previous 12 months)
and an hour or two in a similar aircraft, i.e., KR, Pulsar, RV,
etc. Making the first flight in a KR, or any aircraft, is not a good
plan for "getting current again".
