I too am very glad to hear that you weren't seriously hurt.  I have been
involved with mishap investigation for the air force.  Even though we
shouldn't speculate at this point, I would look at your elevator controls
first based on your description.  You raised a very interesting point with
being found in the aft part of the fuselage....most seat and seat belt
installations only support forward g loading and really don't take aft
loading into account.  If the elevator control fails, you are just as
likely to land inverted as right side up.  I will be interested in hearing
what the ntsb comes up with so we can all be safer.
