How would one make a wing walk area anyway? I have to rework some of the
glass on mine and the wife doesn't think much of the "leg over the side"
method so I think I want to do the same. Is there a write up on this
somewhere in one of the newsletters or something? I've been perusing the
builders site looking at examples. I just want to strengthen the area
between the spars on the stub wings enough to support an average adult
human. But yet I don't want to add to much weight. If I just put extra ribs
outboard of the one next to the fuselage, would I use the same material as
the inner and outers used in the stubs? How far apart would be sufficient?
Would that be all that is necessary or would you need cross "stringer" on
the top to form a grid type structure?
