Not to light a fire.  Why is the use of aero carbs so common when other
adequate more advanced carbs available.  For instance, the sort of carb
that you will find on a 912 has been in use on motorcycles and cars since
the 1950's.

I figure there must be some major advantage to the supremely simple devices
that seem to be the norm on aero engines.
