Density altitude and high elevations I'm going to base my KR2-S at TRK with a field elevation of 5900 hot days giving a density altitude of over 9000 and then still needing to climb 2000 to 3000 feet to safely clear the mountains this is normal flying around here. My question is does any on here have a KR based at high altitude or frequently go above 10,000 feet ? and if so what engine are you using and how the plane handles, climb and cruise with a given prop?
