I appreciate all the comments...no I don't think that's it. There is no visible framework on the bottom or sides of the fuselage. I think the original owner was bruce means but I can't verify that. The first line of the hour record is "picked up fuselage in phoenix". I ordered a back issue of contact magazine that had an article about aero-core and I think the person interviewed was in phoenix...I think I'll learn a lot from that. The original builder referred to this as a stiletto if that helps. I'm going to roll it out of the garage this weekend and take some better pics.
