I joined the EAA national organization and I'm going to check out the local chapters, there are 4 of them (64,331,864,1382) in my area but all meeting places are at least a 30 minute drive for me (one way). I'll probably contact each group and ask if I could come to a meeting as a guest, if that's allowed. I need to find an appropriately skilled Technical Counselor to look over the unfinished KR project I just picked up so I can get going. I'm eager to start working on my plane.
