NetHeads,

I know I could simply wait until tomorrow and call Matco to ask this question,
but has anybody used the caliper shown at
http://www.matcomfg.com/BE5BRKASSYNOPLT-idv-2792-49.html to replace the caliper
on a Cleveland 5" setup? They look functionally identical, and use the same
pads, and I'd be mystified if it wasn't designed as a direct replacement.
Cleveland wants over $500 for one of theirs, and Matco's is $106. I damaged
one of my Cleveland cylinders a few months back and discovered it's leaking
fluid around the fitting that tore out, so the re-tapping and thread sealant
isn't quite holding. Maybe I can repair it with a larger thread, but this new
Matco caliper may be an option as well, if it fits.

If nothing else, this post should serve as a reminder to check out the similar
Matcos before spending big bucks on Clevelands...
