Today was supposed to be the day that the Corvair came to life on the Black
Bird. But it would not happen. I had a friend with me who really knows how
to trouble shoot and he determined that we were getting a weak spark. All
other conditions were checked and checked again but the only thing that
could be found was that the spark was very, extremely weak and intermittent.
The engine turned over strong on the starter, but no go.

I am using the WW dual Distributor and everything with the installation of
it was checked and checked some more. I am using the Bosch Blue coils. He
also connected the coil directly to a spark plug to see if he could get
anything and it was so weak that there was no way it could fire an engine
under compression.

Any words of wisdom, been there done that, will be appreciated.

Once this is complete, I only have the cowling installation to finish before
she will be ready to fly again.
