full length flap on the Mustang II ------------------------- I modified my inboard flaps so, if I needed to I could join them together under the fuselage, I placed the hinge line lower then the bottom of the fuse. I got the idea from the Mustang II as well. But my flaps work so well that I seldom use full flap.
I just took the standard flap, change the hinge system, moved the controls away from rear spa and hinged them off the rear spar, so they have about 12 inch cord.
