I'll be interested in what you end up determining.  I am in the process of
beveling the ends of my spars.  The front spar has to be bevelled on the top of
the leading edge and the rear spar has to be done on the top of the trailing
edge.  it appears that the wing skins do not lie "flat" on the rectangular
surface of the spars so that some curvature is needed to maximize the gluing
surface.  It does look like the bottom skins will adhere well to the "flatness"
of the spars.
I hope that's right because I am doing it now - I'm halfway done.

It looks like the previous owner took a rasp file to the left rear spar near
the WAF.  Here is a pic ( http://www.kr2seafury.com/11.html )  I have not
received my plans yet so I thought I would ask.  Is this the way it is built or
do I need to remake the spar?

Also I went and got my 6061-T6 tubes for the tanks today.  See pic on same web
page at the bottom.  I'm making progress collecting stuff even if it will be a
few more months till I can really dig in like I want to.
