+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The builder may not have done a great job but It doesn't look like a replacement is necessary. They look a bit "rounded" on the top surface but that can be corrected with a good wood plane. I cut the angle on the top cap using a radial arm saw then realized it didn't need to be tapered inside the cockpit, DUH. I glued that strip back on after installing the spar. The aluminum tubs will probably not fit at 5 inches at the tip but they could be "compressed" to an oval shape if necessary. I don't recall what the height of the 36 inch rib a the tip is but it will be close. You have the wing skins so you'll have more room than I had while foaming the wings and building the tanks inside that. I'm sure it can be made to work. Larry Flesner
